
The art of cooking for family and friends is a labor of love. Cooking is an art which brings pleasure to others, dining together is a very nice way of getting to know someone better. How gratifying to have family and friends leave with memories of good food and good time spent together.
Here is this months recipe from my collection - enjoy!!!
BACON-CHEDDAR DEVILED EGGS
12 hard-cooked eggs
1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
2 Tablespoons finely shredded cheddar cheese
1 Tablespoon honey mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Slice eggs in half lengthwise, remove yolks and set whites aside. In a small bowl mash yolks. Stir in mayonnaise, bacon, cheese, mustard and pepper. Stuff into egg whites. Refrigerate until serving.
Note: Place yolk mixture in plastic storage bag and snip off one corner at angle. Squeeze mixture into egg whites. This makes filling egg whites easy and clean. Also, fun for little ones to be apart of the preparation.
